I have two equally important political issues. My first issue is Gay Rights. I am a strong believer in equality and human rights - I have many LGBT friends in my life. Also, I feel have a huge issue with the deficit. I know that no one man or woman can pull the nation out of the debt completely in one or two terms, but I feel like we should be focusing more on taking care of our debt before we spend money in other areas.
I think that abortion should be a personal choice and that it should not be banned because I think that is your own choice if you want to have a baby or not. I think that it shouldn't be someone elses decision to have a baby or not. It is your life and your choice.
Abortion and gay marriage are the most important issues to me because I feel that those are two important personal problems. I feel that people should be allowed to make their own decision.
I chose abortion because I think its a big issue being discussed today. I think the option of abortion should be open to everyone but if it happened to be against your religion or moral codes then you have that option to say no.
I think that abortion should be a personal choice. If you are the one who is pregnant, you should have the right to decide what to do with the baby. There are certain circumstances that I feel it should be allowed, such as rape. A woman should be able to choose whether or not they want to have an abortion and it should not be decided by the government.
Drug legalization is very important because the war on drugs is a failure and will never succeed. THe country has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on this and it is just as easy as it ever was to get drugs on the street. Abortion is also important to stay legal because it is not the government's business and a baby could potentially ruin someones life if they didn't want it. -connor
The biggest issue in this election cycle is same sex marriage. The reason for this is that I feel that just because you are the same gender, doesn't mean that you can't marry one another. People say that it's wrong because the bible says so, but you don't follow and do everything the bible tells you to. I just think that gay couples should get the right to be married. The fact that it's illegal in some states makes me feel horrible because they can't get marriage benefits as well. -Hartman
I definitely think that abortion is the most important in politics at the moment. I believe that abortion should be something a mother decides on her own. Even if they allow it for cases of incest or rape, this will still lead to countless problems. If mom's aren't allowed to have the choice of aborting an unwanted child, the child will probably live a very difficult life and will most likely not be happy.
I think that Abortion is a very important issue in Politics today. I believe that since we live in a free country you should be able to make personal decisions for your self and the government should not have any opinion in the decision that you make. I don't think that it is ok to kill a living child but i think that in some cases before you get to far into the pregnancy it should be ok to have an abortion.
Everyone knows about the big problems in politics such as abortion. I think instead of spending so much time on something that should obviously be a personal people should focus on the issues that effect us everyday such as this debt crisis. Something that has been coming up a lot is the legalization of the drug marijuana although ignored this could actually be very helpful. If the drug marijuana were to be legalized it would have to be taxed and would become part of the United States economy. Regardless of personal belief you cannot doubt and say that marijuana is popular in todays society, if legalized it would bring tremendous amounts of money back into the economy creating jobs and new opportunities for more people.
I think the biggest problem is the dispute about gay rights. I personally don't like the argument about gay's not being able to be married because it's basically like saying blacks shouldn't. It's discrimination. And We should know better than to discriminate.
I believe that the argument about abortion is a very big issue in our nation. that a woman should be able to have the choice on whether she should abort or give birth to a child. I say this because if, in the most extreme case, a women is taken advantage of and she is impregnated by her abuser, she should have the choice on whether she can has the child or not. The women did not choose to be taken advantage of, so denying her right to abort a child is taking away her rights as a human.
I think that the most important political issues are abortion and death penalty. Talking about abortion, I believe that it has to be mother's opinion, it's very important for mother to decide, because it's her child and it will be on her conscience and it;s absolutely her responsibility. The second issue, on my opinion, is one of the most controversial, it's death penalty. I'm absolutely voting for that. I believe if the person took somebody's life, his life should be taken as well. But if we want to make this punishment world-wide, the countries have to provide the most accurate investigation and judging, therefore we will be sure that the guilty person will suffer and innocents won't be punished.
